We strive to make your stay at the Inn as pleasant and relaxing as possible...Homemade chocolate chip cookies are by your bedside to greet you. Our beds feature 100% cotton Ralph Lauren sheets, matelasse coverlets and duvets. All beds have bedside tables on each side with reading lamps. In the bathrooms thick over-sized towels, fragrant soaps and guest robes await you.  Rooms are equipped with televisions, CD player alarm clocks and wireless internet is available. Complimentary wine and cheese is offered in the evening as well as a complete breakfast in the morning.   Room rates are based on double occupancy and do not include tax. Weekday and corporate discounts are available.

The Headmaster's Room
 
Located upstairs in the 1835 Greek Revival section of our home, the Headmaster's Room offers sweeping views of the surrounding countryside from it's four large windows. A queen size pencil post bed overlooks the gas log fireplace and original heartpine flooring. Stately wingback chairs ,Capel braided rugs and an antique southern chest of drawers adorn the room. The light -filled private bathroom has a clawfoot bathtub with a shower and antique dressing table.

The 1801 Room
 
On the first floor of our newly reconstructed 1801 addition, this room invites you to experience another era. Heartpine floors, a Persian antique rug and a  tiger maple queen size four poster canopy bed showcase the skills of master craftsmen. Relax in the wingback chair reading by the original Federal mantle of the gas log fireplace. Enjoy the rocking chair while gazing out at the shaded Southern porch replete with columns. The private bathroom invites you to soak in the air tub with a shower. This room is located in the main house with a private entrance.

Rusty's Room
 
A sunny A -shaped room in the newly reconstructed 1801 section of our inn. Walk up the stairs and admire the original woodwork. A large Capel braided rug decorates the heartpine flooring. Custom made walnut  rope beds can remain apart for two twin beds or can be joined into a king size bed. Linger in the slipper chair reading or just gazing outside at the treetops. A gas log fireplace invites you to curl up and relax. A divided private bathroom with air tub and shower make this room ideal for friends or family traveling together.

The Milkhouse Cottage
 
Just a short walk from the main house the separate Milkhouse Cottage beckons you in. The cozy  sitting room  has a loveseat and television . The bedroom is a cheery sunroom filled with light. Views of the lawn, woods and barn can be enjoyed from your queen size bed. A French writing desk, Capel braided rugs and a Kennedy rocker enhance the natural setting. Awaiting you in the private bathroom is a Jacuzzi bathtub and shower. Step out the back door of your private cottage to nap in a hammock and your stay is complete.

Cancellation Policy

We are a small inn and rely on advance reservations; cancellations cannot always be filled immediately.
To be fair, we ask that you give one weeks notice, and your deposit will be refunded minus a $15.00 service charge. Early check-outs are subject to charge
